DOCUMENTATION / V0.1
Standard Build protocol.
Standard Build is a proposed city-token layer for organizing local markets beneath existing country tokens. The core primitive is the explicit parent-child relationship between a country market and each city market created beneath it.
01 / COUNTRY LAYERS
The country token is the root.
Each city token references exactly one parent country token. The parent relationship is intended to make markets easier to discover and reason about: country first, then local markets beneath it.
A city token should never appear as an isolated market in the registry. Its parent country is part of the token's identity.
02 / CITY ISSUANCE
Proposed launch lifecycle.
- 01Select a country layer
Choose the country token that will act as the city token's parent market.
- 02Define city metadata
Set the city name, ticker and optional descriptive metadata.
- 03Preview hierarchy
Verify the visible city → country relationship before any transaction.
- 04Deploy
Future step: submit the on-chain transaction and register the city token.
03 / GLOBAL REGISTRY
A canonical market index.
The registry is intended to expose a simple mapping between city tokens and country tokens. Frontends can use it to browse local markets without relying on token names alone.
{
"city": "New York",
"symbol": "$NYC",
"parent": "$USA",
"type": "CITY_TOKEN",
"status": "LIVE"
}04 / INTEGRATIONS
Simple frontend primitives.
The interface below is illustrative rather than a released SDK. It shows the intended developer ergonomics for creating and reading city markets.
await standardBuild.createCity({
parent: "$USA",
city: "New York",
symbol: "NYC"
})
const markets = await standardBuild.cities("$USA")05 / SECURITY & STATUS
What still needs to be finalized.
Contract architecture and permissions are still TBD.
The current site does not request signatures or move assets.
The final deployment environment should be documented before launch.
Security review begins once production contracts exist.
06 / FAQ
Common questions.
Is Standard Build live?
No. The current build is a frontend prototype and product concept.
Are city tokens official municipal assets?
No. The interface is not affiliated with governments or municipalities.
Can I deploy a real token today?
Not through this prototype. The launch interface currently produces a preview only.
What does the parent country token do?
In the current concept it provides the visible root relationship used to organize and discover city markets. Final economic mechanics are still TBD.
